A lithographed tin advertising showcard featuring a pale yellow ground. Lettering in black cursive script reads Peter Jackson above Virginia Cigarettes, with the slogan Packed In Natural Wood to the base. A central printed graphic depicts a wooden cigarette tin with a red seal and PJ monogram. The tin-plate front is secured with crimped metal edges to a cardboard backing fitted with a fold-out easel stand and a green hanging string. A small adhesive provenance label to the reverse reads the Gwyn Brondyffryn Collection alongside a red Welsh dragon. 9.75 inches by 6 inches.
Condition report:
Very good condition with light wear and minor foxing to the edges. Colours remain bright.
