Esso Ethyl flanged enamel advertising sign. The double-sided sign features a yellow ground with a central circular emblem consisting of white upper and lower sections divided by a horizontal red band. The upper white field displays the Esso script in blue, above the word ETHYL in white block capitals to the red band. The lower section features the blue triangular logo for the Ethyl Gasoline Corporation, with radiating lines and a white banner. A hand-rendered mark 12 / 5 / 35. is present to the lower right corner. One edge is folded at a right angle to form a mounting flange.
