Each multi-purpose metal tool features a condition analysis plate with five circular viewing windows and colour illustrations for evaluating spark plug wear, including normal, worn, oily, burned, and petrol fouled states. The reverse of the plate promotes Champion brand performance and includes an integrated gap tool with three fold-out steel feeler gauges marked .020 MAG., .025 COIL, and .032 COIL H.V. The printed metal bodies carry the registered design number 888528. The original red, black, and white boxes are marked with the manufacturer name and indicate that an instruction booklet was originally enclosed.
