A one-piece white opal glass petrol pump globe of circular form with a flared neck. Each face features a central yellow ring containing the brand name National and Mixture in black block capitals. Overlaid is a black and white winged Mercury head logo with Super in red italicised script. The shoulder of the globe is printed with the maker’s mark Webb’s Crystal Glass Co Ltd London, and the opposite side displays the registered design number 861335. Below the main graphics is the registered trade mark number 393120. The interior of the mounting collar features a black printed ownership stencil for Property of the National Benzole Co Ltd.
