Circular one-piece white glass petrol pump globe manufactured by Hailwood & Ackroyd Ltd under the Hailware brand. Both faces feature a green circular border enclosing Esso Green in green block lettering, with Tractor Vaporising Oil in black below. The interior of the base aperture is stencilled Property of Esso Petroleum Ltd and bears a partially worn manufacturer label. The globe retains the remains of a rubber base ring, with rust staining from a previous globe holder.
