A Kenyon Serilight road warning lamp by Alexander Kenyon & Co. Ltd. of Manchester. The rectangular sheet steel body is finished in a red gloss with a domed top and integral carrying handle. It features three red faceted glass bullseye lenses and three smaller frosted circular viewports. The side door is hinged with a simple latch mechanism and includes internal provision for a paraffin burner. Embossed to the dome is Kenyons Serilight Lens Lamp Road Lamp and dated 1961. The side door is embossed with GCC, likely for a County Council such as Gloucestershire or Glamorgan. The lenses are moulded with Kenyons Serilight Lens and Regd Trade Mark.
