A navy blue ground enamel advertising sign for Rowntree’s Elect Cocoa. The central design features a prominent yellow crescent-shaped oval containing the wording Ask Us For Rowntree’s in white serif lettering above Elect Cocoa in yellow and white block capitals. The top section is inscribed Makers to T.M. The King & Queen, flanked by two Royal Warrants with By Appointment below each. Finished with a yellow border line. The reverse is heavily oxidised with surface rust and a patch of red paint with a handwritten inventory number.
