A circular enamel advertising sign for Pratts Motor Oil. The white ground features the brand name Pratts centrally in dark blue stylised script with an underlined flourish. Below, the word MOTOR is set in red block capitals, with OIL in large blue serif capitals. The design is framed by a red and white scalloped cogwheel border. The reverse shows heavy surface oxidation and remnants of a dark backing coat.
