The body features the Esso name embossed within a horizontal oval to the main panel and vertical Esso lettering to the narrow side. The top surface displays embossed Petroleum and Highly Inflammable markings beneath the paint. The can is fitted with a fixed top handle and a metal filler cap embossed with the manufacturer name.
