A Leyland Panther commercial vehicle badge assembly comprising a three-part chrome and enamel set mounted on a black ground rectangular display plate. The central shield-shaped badge features a snarling black panther head in multi-coloured enamel with yellow eyes and red mouth against a gold-tone metallic field. This is flanked by two trapezoidal chrome panels with embossed lettering, the left reading Leyland and the right reading Panther. These components were characteristic of the Leyland Panther rear-engined bus chassis produced between 1964 and 1972. The mounting plate features four corner holes for display.
