The globe features the red Esso script logo within a blue oval border, positioned above the word GOLDEN in red characters with yellow outlining. The interior fitter rim bears stamped manufacturer marks for S.W. (Lighting) Ltd, Leeds, with the date code 7 59 for July 1959.
