A ‘Stock Kempshall Tyres’ enamel sign
Believed to be the only known example, this Edwardian double-sided, flanged die-cut enamel sign features an image of the cross-section of a tyre in the stunning colour scheme of grey, white navy-blue and yellow. Made by Patent Enamel Co Ltd B’ham in the early 1900’s it has stunning gloss, and is surely the most interesting item to surface for a long time in the world of Petroliana.
