This is an authentic vintage advertising sign for Ed. Laurens, the historic manufacturer of Egyptian-style cigarettes. Produced circa 1930s–1950s, the sign is crafted from reverse-painted glass with a sophisticated gold-toned background. The design features the coat of arms of the House of Grimaldi at the top, the red script Laurens signature, and a detailed illustration of a lit cigarette marked Alexandrie Egypte. The lower portion displays a colourful depiction of the Prince de Monaco cigarette tin showing a coastal scene. The manufacturer mark A. Galis Paris is located at the bottom centre.
